Camberwell Contemporary Kitchen 2

This new black and white kitchen design definitely looks impressive! The existing timber kitchen that it replaced was much smaller, as the dining area was also in the kitchen space. A new extension to the home had created a separate dining area and the owner wanted a modern kitchen with an island bench, storage galore and an element of amazement to make people stop and take notice.

The large island benchtop acts as a centrepiece and brings the kitchen and dining spaces together. The Indian Black granite benchtop matches the striking Emerald Pearl granite floor tiles perfectly and helps provide the impressive impact. Ample storage space means there won’t be any pots or pans cluttering the workspace. An array of three Miele ovens and a coffee maker lines the wall, with each cleverly located well of the ground – there’s no need to put your back out bending over to get your roast dinner from the oven. A new touch system has been used instead of handles on the drawers to contribute to the streamlined appearance.

The new kitchen has created an easy flow to and from the dining area, and the client can now gaze out at her garden when she works at the sink or hotplate. This kitchen looks divine and offers spaciousness and practicality – it’s exactly what the homeowner wanted.
